Fair Market Player
For exceptional market approach
The Fair Market Player Award is aimed at companies with an extraordinary attitude toward customers and/or suppliers as well as with a fair approach toward other market stakeholders, which other companies could take inspiration from. If the company is part of a multinational company, the assessment takes into account the adaptation of the global strategy to Slovak conditions and the quality of domestic activities. In this category, the independent jury awards:
- projects implemented by companies in response to the war in Ukraine, in order to facilitate the situation of their business partners (stakeholders);
- introduction of responsible and innovative products and services to the Slovak market or foreign markets (for example, the markets of developing and transforming countries). Particular attention is paid to products intended for disadvantaged customer groups, the introduction of tools protecting jeopardized groups of users, products that possess extraordinary quality or offer a very friendly warranty that goes over and above statutory requirements;
- above-standard customer care, for example, programmes aimed at customer satisfaction;
- honest dealings with partners, for example, the creation of an ethical and transparent business environment, the introduction and adherence to clear and transparent principles for customers or suppliers, ethical advertising and marketing, above-standard handling of complaints;
- support for suppliers across the whole supplier chain, which may involve foreign countries, for example, improvement of their functioning and responsible approach or payment conditions which will ensure suppliers’ financial health and sustainability.
- public awareness campaigns that contribute to sensitising society on key issues and increasing its accountability.
We present awards to projects with innovative potential, measurable goals and achieved results, linking the project with the company’s activities and overall strategy, the long-term sustainability of the project and the extent to which the company involves its partners (employees, customers, suppliers and shareholders).
