Do you know that even a primary school student is able to help their region or solve a community problem? It is only about getting the opportunity. Therefore, OPEN FUTURE comes to Slovak regions and closer to local communities and opens its door to students of different backgrounds in order to give them a chance to experience the world full of unknown innovations and technologies and get the right skills and abilities that will prepare them for better future.

OPEN FUTURE program links a group of 20 – 25 participants annually between 11 and 15 with a group of mentors from business environment, NGOs and public authorities. With the help of mentors, the participants work on their own idea (mini social start-up) for their community, town or school. Thanks to the program they will improve their entrepreneurial, IT and digital skills, financial literacy and critical thinking. Furthermore, they will learn to work in a team and get other soft skills.

We are inviting you to join the businesses, entrepreneurs and experts who are participating in building a new generation of leaders in Slovakia. Thanks to you, your experience, willingness and time we may find a Slovak Elon Musk or another Michaela Musilová.

We believe that talent is everywhere but opportunities are not. Help us create them.

The OPEN FUTURE pilot center was open in TRNAVA at Maxim Gorký Primary School
